I'd be interested to know too. The radio in my 56 v8v is pants. Seems to only pick up a station if I'm parked next to it's transmitter mast.

They've only just started fitting 8-track FFS smile

No they don't exist in Astons AFAIK (not sure of many cars that have them - the digital radio scene is a bit of a mess).

You can get Aux-In added to the stereo (at a price). You could then add your favourite DAB portable.

Though if you're a DB9 owner, isn't Radio 4 on FM strong everywhere? biggrin

My radio in 2006 DB9 Volante is pretty good - just looking ahead as the car is a keeper - are they not due to do a switchover to digital only radio as they have done with TV ?
I love the interior and in an ideal world would like to future proof it by replacing the sat nav with the Garmin and the radio without cocking up the facia>

Some use a Tune to Air (or some similar name) device that allows bluetooth audio streaming. You can then use internet radio from your phone (http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1366033).

Switchover still hasn't happened. Petrol will likely run out before it does!

Later Astons can have optional bluetooth upgrade to allow over the air streaming from your phone. Or buy a £10 plug in gadget off ebay that does the same thing, it works pretty well, so long as you have a good mobile data connection on the phone, which cannot always be guaranteed on our crappy mobile data network in the UK....
