Hi all,

I have finally got round to sorting out my broken sr4, and I need to switch the gearbox off a spare engine I have, onto the engine on the car.

I'm hoping this will be a relatively simple process but can anyone tell me what oil is best for the 'box and how much i need ?

It shares the engine oil, either silkolene 15/50 pro race 4 or whatever shell oil radical use these days.

Dunc.

Thanks, next stupid question for the day. When removing the engine, where is it best to lift it from ? As in where can
I connect a strap to. I cant see anything that is strong enough to hold the weight.

Thanks again !

This is normally how I sling my ZZR engine smile

Just mind the small oil feed pipes on the dry sump where the rope/sling goes under the engine and gearbox.
