With the good weather, I've had the car out over the last few days (tonight included) and what I can confirm is that yes, these cars aren't really at home on the road...you start thinking about the roads you travel on as a 'route' for the Radical when you take it out. Bumpy roads make you cringe but smooth tarmac is glorious...until you hit slower traffic (which is everything else on the road when you're in the Radical).

I'm still settling in to ownership, next up will be an airfield day to stretch its legs before more track days and road blasts. So far though, you have to take it for it is and what it is, is a huge unsuitable smile.

I've driven lots of quick cars over the years, but overtaking a motorbike on a hill in 5th like he's parked up is amusing.

Just wait til you do something like spend 5 hours getting to Oulton Park the leafy route.

Don't use a helmet either. Ear plugs and goggles. I use a sheepskin flying hat too, keeps the flies off the forehead.

Magic.
