Lots of SR3RS for sale. Does that mean a lot of upgrades to the SR3RSX for the next season?

How much quicker do we think the RSX will be?

I am sure a few people in Peterborough are hoping the nee SR3 will be a little faster than a PR6...smile

That's just a case of making the PR6 tyres thinner and thinner biggrin

With a PTW that actually betters a PR6 for the first time, evermore superior aero and indeed several important upgrades that can only be applied to the very latest RSs or are otherwise exclusive to the SR3RSX, it's probably a 'got to have' for anyone aiming for the podium in Radical's Championships.

I shall be very happy indeed dicking around at trackdays in my very high spec RSX when it gets delivered at the end of February .................. unless Will tries to purloin it for racing scratchchin, in which case, the sooner someone makes me an offer I can't refuse the better!

I'm available at the end of February to help run it in if needed. Pretty please...

Yes
The shame of having a bird beat you!!

The fastest time for an SR3 around CC(excluding ones with windmills strapped to the side of the engines)is held by an early car in 2008

1m3.5 secs

I think I was watching from the sidelines for some reason. Of course If I'd been on the track it would have been a different matter biggrin

Who was it at CC in 2008? Did they have a big motor by any chance (even if not windmill powered)?

Think Phil Keen did a 1m4.1s this year in a Marks Electrical RS

I reckon that lots of dreams (titled 'will Maranello be calling me this Winter?') were shattered that day laugh

Probably relatively easy to explain the pace of such as Phil K and Sam H - both well seasoned pros racing near enough every week, stuff like Orecas, LMP2 Champ etc - but struggling to come up with satisfactory excuses for getting hammered by young hotshoe Alice who was racing a Rad for the first time?

Mind you,a few years back I had to work hard to get past Rachel Davies at Thruxton, and I was in a tuned 1440 PR6!

Just reminded myself via TSL ............. gosh that seems like way more than four years ago, time flies and all that. Great year that with the massively exciting battle between DSL and CTM. It were brill.

BTW, saw a name that I'd (probably selectively) forgotten that would strike fear in the wallet heart of any privateer clubman who just about manages to pay his/her own way - 7 letters begins with H and ends with Y. Here's a non too subtle clue ......... Steely decided to give him the new nickname of Horizontal Hxxxxxy.

At Dony I recollect?
