SR3 side pod removal?

Need to have a peek at the paddle shift air compressor pump. It's cycling constantly.
I've checked the black valve block and also the throttle blipper and gear ram fittings for leaks and have eliminated them as the cause.
Last place to check is the air compressor.
Questions:
Do I need to remove the side pod body panel to inspect the compressor pump?
If so, is there a step-by-step side pod removal tutorial someone would kindly share before I jump in blindly...

Step by step Side Pod/Radiator removal 2005 SR3
I hope this quite easy protocol will assist any first timer in removing the radiator.
Step by step side pod removal radiator side
1. It helps to have the car raised off the ground to access lower side pod allen head bolts
2. Remove front and rear body sections.
3. Unplug electric radiator fan motor connection.
4. Unclip security clip on electrical water pump connector and unplug (use screw driver to unclip metal safety clip on right and left and then pull off).
5. Loosen the hose clamp which attaches the water pump to the lower body panel (not sure if this is standard on all SR3).
6. Disconnect water pump from both radiator hoses and drain cooling water. Via the water pump the lower radiator hose is attached to a long aluminum tube extension. I removed the entire assembly to check hoses and ease access. I left the short section radiator hose attached to the radiator as it is easier to remove once the radiator is out.
7. Remove upper radiator hose from radiator.
8. Disconnect auxiliary battery jump cable from the on board battery.
9. Remove 3 x 4mm allen key head bolts on the bottom of the side pod.
10. Remove 5mm Allen key head bolt held by a 10mm nut holding the side pod stay to the chassis. I found it easier to remove the top connection and left the lower connection attached to the side pod.
11.Remove 2 x 4 mm allen head bolt in the middle of outer side pod.
12. Undo front and rear clip of upper body panel and finally center clip.
Support the side pod from underneath as once the front, rear and center clips are undone the side pod will drop.
Once the side pod is removed the radiator will slide from the side pod.
If you need to remove the electric fan from the radiator be aware that the black clips that hold the fan to the radiator are non reusable.
