Hi all,
What could be the symtoms of a fault tps please?

In summary, the throttle almost seems to have a 'mind of its own' eg erratic and sometimes surging idle, hesitation in acceleration / pick-up, out of the blue stalling / cutting out both under load and idling.

Thanks for your reply, that sounds right then, as my car was undrivable last weekend, mostly running much leaner than intended. I am also going to check fuel pressure and if I have some sort of ristriction in the fuel system.

No it's tight. What made me think it is faultly, was the fact that on idle it is supposed to read 0 MBE ECU according to the tuner, but occasionally even went up to 4 with no throttle, however it is intermittent, as yesterday I exercised the throttle several times, but it always went back to 0
