Hope you're keeping well, been a while now since I last saw you!
It's not a rumour, indeed it's been a known fact for several weeks now, including RS officially themselves; this appeared in their Oulton Park Championship Newsletter of July 5 2016 >
Not just Phil and Amanda, but also young James, so a genuinely sad day imho. My sincere admiration, appreciation, thanks and best wishes for the future to all three of them. End Of An Era (and a very special one) me thinks.

Not often that I am in full agreement with Trev, but on this I certainly am.
I understand when change is needed, it's needed and never easy. I suspect that great though Radical are, they are a bit stuck in terms of forward progress.
However and back to the point, I look back on my time racing Radicals with huge fondness - a time that cannot be repeated for me - even if the Bertish vault were to unlock again and offer up sufficient funds. And not only were the Abbotts the creators of such fantastic cars, their utter goodness, friendliness and spirit of doing the right thing for the customers was fantastic.
So all the very best to the Abbotts and also all the best to Radical in their future endevours.
