A great improvement, I think not. Why oh why?

The Radical logo was always to me one of the best I have ever seen. Designed by a man, Mick Hyde, who was an extremely talented marketing man. Why change it?

Directors are now listed as 2 Germans and an accountant. One of the Germans is ex McKinsey's.

New broom....

I have seen a pic of a shampoo (or shower gel) bottle with the same (old) Radical logo on it from the same marketing man apparentlysmile

Yes that's where it came from originally.

I guess the new logo will be fine when we get used to it, but there are lots of nasty things about it which will make it hard to use.

And strangely enough, when I last visited Radical (mid September), who did I spot? Yep, none other than Mick Hyde

Not sure what's underneath, but apparently a LMP Style LED adorned nose job on the SR8 and a full fat facelift on the SR4, whoops the SR1.

Pics can be seen on Twotter and Farcebook.

smile

PS More bottom end? Compared to what?

Ah splitpin, compared to the 2015 spec engine. The 2017 SR3 spec rebuild is a new block, pistons and crank with longer stroke, its a design spec they used to use but with the improved breathing of the Gen3 heads and Venturi's. There is around 20hp and 20ft ibs extra torque from about 2K right up to the top where it joins the old curve. You can feel the difference all over the place. I'll try and put up the dyno outputs of old (2015) and new (2017) engine.

Looks like the engine warranty is up to 40-45 hours according to the website blurb as well.

Don't quite understand why there are two values but that's good news regardless smile

Just a bit of light-hearted fun; the odd amusing glitch is consistent with having just launched a totally revamped website. 2000+ cars (when virtually everyone else with a similar ambition has failed miserably) suggests they are really rather good on the promotion side and I expect that certainly to be the case if indeed Mick Hyde is again active; history suggests he is absolutely top notch on the branding and marketing side ......... the first time I visited Radical, it was out of hours and notwithstanding, he spent several hours explaining each and every model with all the enthusiasm of a genuine enthusiast ........... I have since bought five in total so he/they clearly got the message across biggrin

Totally agree with that. Mick was the sales and marketing and Phil the engineer, both extremely enthusiastic about their product. I've just taken delivery of my 4th Radical.
