Hi, I had that worry too after i drained and refilled mine recently so asked Radical technical help, who said just run it and it will be fine. My worry was based around only getting 1L of oil back in until it came out of the filler hole as I couldn't remember how much oil I drained out. I then tried to top up after a run on track but it didn't take much more. Radical said do not run it on jacks unloaded as this may damage the unit. I was told the capacity was 2L so suspect the radiator didn't empty due to the positioning of the pipes. I'm now assuming all is well and that its working but will do a temp test on the rad next time to see if it gets warm. Maybe another Radicalism?
I'm sure someone who has done this will advise soon. Ray.

I think ill run it on track then check it and keep an eye on it. Before i start pulling things apart like the cooler as its a pain in the ass to get to in the sidepod.

If you want to go with belt and braces (which I do for my own OCD), you can "prime" the system by pulling off one end of the various lines and filling the lines. I then pull off the return line to the top of the GDU and turn the wheels by hand until I see oil pumping back into the diff (which satisfies my OCD that the system is full and pumping). I then open the "level" plug and let any extra drain out.

I find myself changing oil 3 times a season as I do various circuits and have to change the ratios out, SPA/Oulton/Knockhill/Ring... all I do is remove the bottom pipe let it drain out then remove the ratio side plate (let that drain) seal back up and refill the same amount that was dropped, sure all is fine as I inspect the ratios as I remove them and there is plenty oil film on them.
