Thanks to all those who`ve shown an intrest in the ROC so far. I dont have any email addresses for Tprocket, Dario, Chrissimp, TonyF or Ianan yet, PM me at some point if possible.

Here`s the list of all those wishing to be added so far..

William Brown (Willbee)
Trevor Brown (Splitpin)
Scott Hughs (Scott Hughs)
Nick Bourne (Nick997)
Paul Marsham (Marshy98)
Graham (BertBert)
Mark Gixer (Gixermark)
Tim Porter (Tprocket)
Dario (DarioT)
Chris Simpson (Chrissimp)
Tony Freeman (TonyF)
Graham Johnson (Ianan)

Keep`em coming!

We`ll probably try and arrange a ROC trackday meet in the Spring of next year. Does anyone have a track preference? Im guessing somewhere reasonably central would be sensible to make it accessable for the majority. Silverstone?? Donington??

Suggestions welcome!
Shocking breach of security!

and another thing, that Johnson fellow, he's an imposter, he hasn't got a Radical, so he can't come in!
Well, he's got mine, so I s'pose that counts!

Bert
PS Graham, did Mrs Bert sort out the fiduciary matter in my absence?

It'll come as no surprise to Nick that my preference would also be for Silverstone GP. That said, I'll go with the flow; the single-most important thing is that this happens..........can you imagine how good a track full of Radicals & their Owners will be, look and feel; particularly on a track (clearly Silverstone and Donington are both up to that) that allows their huge capabilities to be properly explored. In a word, Brilliant. rotate

I am in too. Like the idea of an annual trackday meeting as well as there are never more than 1 or 2 Radicals on trackdays. Silverstone would be great, Donington is always problematic re noise. Having said that, is anyone going on Dec 29th, I'm there, it's unrestricted noise !

Count me in too please Will (YHM)

By the way, did you know that a ROC is an enormous legendary bird of prey, often white, reputed to have been able to carry off and eat elephants? Not a lot of people know that!

Well I suggest Goodwood - brilliant, fast, friendly circuit and its ideally placed, being central on the south coast wink

Certainly didn't, marvellous thing that Wikipedia; although I quite like this one > Roc, slang term referring to the dog breed Rottweiler < (because messing with a Radical could be just as dodgy as doing so with a 'slobber chops'!), I've emailed a couple of images of said big legendary bird (looks really vicious!) to Willbee to email circulate to all us Founder ROC Members - could perhaps be sort of inspirational for the forthcoming ROC Logo? Best not to get into 'debating' what a Radical's overweight meal might consist of...............let's leave/keep those other Forums out of this! biglaugh

Expressions of interest on ROC were really starting to fly (well done, Guys), but seem to have slightly hesitated over the past few days.

If nothing else. this will lift it back up top!

So c'mon all you as yet silent Radical Owners who seem to have momentarily gone in to some kind of hibernation: I'd take a guess that we'll need to muster say 30 cars to make an exclusively Radical 'half hour on / half hour off' Trackday Group, so presently, we're not far off halfway there; good but could/should be better!

As an 'incentive' might we say that all those who express ROC interest this side of the New Year become and get graphic endorsement as "Founder Member", whereas those joining in Jan 1 09 onwards simply become "Full Member"? To encourage those who (rightly) aspire to Radical Ownership and/or Piloting, perhaps we should consider "Junior Member"?

Let's hope this helps inspire / allow a longer list from Willbee soon; For democracy, I suggest the next List follows alphabetically on real surnames? And I dare say Scott H would like to see his missing E?

20 names on the list now! Thanks to all those who`ve shown an interest. I`m still looking for more names to make the first trackmeet as good as possible. If anyone knows of anyone else who might be interested, let me know. Bring on 30!

Cheers
