Found time to have a read through the MSA's First Newsletter this evening and I thought this might be of interest >
Helmet Standards
The Motor Sports Council has extended the life of the BS 6658-85 Type A/FR helmet standard by two years to 31st December 2015, despite the FIA’s announcement that it will cease to recognise the standard after 31st December 2013. Meanwhile the Snell SA2000 standard will now be valid until 31st December 2014, rather than 1st January 2011 as stated in the 2010 Blue Book.

As I was finding it a bit difficult to keep track of the many opportunities there are for us use our Radicals in various forms of motorsport, to supplement the existing info on the ROC Sprint Championship and the Quaife Radical Club Cup and CCI Radical UK Championships, I have just expanded ROC's Calendar to include the dates and venues of such as the 750MC Bike-Sports, Castle Combe Special GTs, Open Sportscar Series and the Speed Series.
I hope this is of assistance.
Do remember that the dates shown are the actual racedays, so you will need to check such as testing and qualifying in case they are prior to those dates!
If you spot any errors or wish any other Series/Championships to appear on ROC's Calendar, please email me @ ROC.

Dear ROC-owner-admin-type-person,
I'm normally reasonably competent with technology, some even describing me as geeky having at home a couple of linux servers, two music streaming systems and a host of desktops and laptops that my kids keep breaking, but, but, despite all that I seem to have cocked up my login to the ROC webby.
Please could you help?

Hi Guys
Can't get hold of Will or a few others that came to mind, so apologies for pinging one up on here!
A ROC Member has recently purchased his first Radical (SR4) and is prepping his car for his first outing @ Snett on 14/10/2010. Part of that is to change his rear sprocket and replace his chain - the hard way i.e. dropping off the driveshaft as he hasn't got a splitter. As a first time owner and the first time doing this, he seems to have slightly got stuck and needs some 'on the ground' guidance.
Can anyone provide a quick bit of help or failing that, post up the details of a pro who is local to him who could assist? He's in Kingston, Surrey.
Cheers

Yes I would have bought the clubsport if the issue of my SR4 was not sorted On a serious note I am really grateful to splitpin and BertBert for their help with an issue that I was really stuck with, and yet was so simple.
Genuine and good persons in my opinion.
See you all next week at Snett.

Those of you who showed interest in Hans / Hans Post Helmets will now have an email in your Inbox letting you know what we've achieved on both, plus associated accessories; pretty good I think.
If you didn't get it and are interested in going Hans, not forgeting this deal is only available to ROC Members, let me know!
