C'MON GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all who have replied thus far; rest assured that if you've said you'd like to do it, your name's on my list.

So

We are just TWO names shy on our list, whereupon the TDO is going to confirm/commit to it, then we're ON. Great. We need those two names between now and 10.00AM TOMORROW!

So to remind you >

1) Whilst about six weeks from now seems like ages away, it's not, especially when it comes to the TDO needing to commit to it. So heads-up.

2) There are only about ten 'full-on' trackdays per year on the GP Circuit and on none of those will you be on track with only sociable and helpful buddies in Rads. So this is your once and only opportunity to do so this year (and to boot, at appreciably less than the £500+ it normally costs to do a BHGP TD at this time of year.)

3) BHGP is awesome fun in a Rad; Radical Hero JW said that after last Thursday's TD and that was in a mixed car format; if someone of his eperience and calibre reckons that, then 'just with Rads', it must be 'something else'!

It's in your court then ...........

All you need to do is send me an email / PM saying 'Put my name down for this please'.

Fingers crossed, watch this space.

C'MON GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brands GP is THE best circuit in the country in my humble opinion. I had the pleasure to drive it a few weeks ago a trackday and was reminded of how it takes all the best bits of the indy circuit and adds in a load more stunning corners that flow nicely and are truly exhilarating to drive. If I owned a Radical I would be booking onto this day as you may never get the chance again. Don't miss out!

Cheers for that Alex (input & nudge).

When Top Guns like JW and your goodself sing it's praises that highly, all I can say is "Can't Wait!"

Presumably you'll be there and perhaps on for a bit of truly expert tutoring?

Hi Guys,

It appears that several people did not receive the Goodwood ROC Trackday email (possibly a server error). If any of you did not receive it and would like it sent again, drop me an email or post up on here.

Cheers,
Will

C'mon Guys

The chance for us aero-heads to have the whole of Glorious Goodwood solely to ourselves on a Saturday and as a noisy day is as rare as Hen's Teeth.

To Good To Miss IMHO ............ Form a (sort of orderly) queue

PS As all who attended will confirm, Brands was totally brilliant biggrin

Guessed so, there's none more enthusiastic.

Far be it from me to try to guide the World's Best Potential Poker Player biglaugh, but don't overplay your hand i.e. don't forget that others need to pull their digits out ultra-pronto (like by first thing-ish Monday) to get to the minimum number.

WANTED - Another Radical for the Birkett 6 hour

The New Radicals team entered for the Birkett 6 hour relay race on the Silverstone Gran Prix (Yes, the GP circuit!!) on October 29th is looking for a fourth car and driver to replace James Breakell who has gear box problems.
Our team so far is:
Radical SR3 RS - Lee Bailey and Aaron Bailey
Radical PR6 - John Powis and David Watson
Radical SR4 - Oliver Cox

Any other Radical and one driver would be great to make us up to a 6 driver, 4 car team.

The format is fairly simple: One car out at a time. Race is divided up into (say) 3 lots of 20 minutes each. Next car out must be ready to go when current car returns to pits.
You need a National B licence.
Cost per driver is £230 for one hour's racing on Silverstone GP circuit. What a bargain!

If you're interested contact David Watson on 07919 345970 (watsondt@gmail.com) or Aaron Bailey on 07500 062087 (KCNAZZA@live.co.uk).

Been misbehaving ......... some sort of 'come and go' near total cut electrical gremlin; picked Ted's brains, did what he said, went to Mallory last Wednesday for the morning's testing to see if we'd (meaning he'd) cracked it and after about 12 'as usual, no problemo' laps, the bloody gear shaft snapped, so home we came, none the wiser at the mo ........ watch this space.

Next considered step might be a Cleese-type light branch thrashing.

Anyway, it's got one of those thingamejigs, whatyacallits, doodahs, you know what you don't like anymore ........ gear stick, that's it.

Anyhow, why not stretch the Turbo's legs - afterall, it'll be a real hoot trying to thread that round layer upon layer mobile chicanes lap after lap after lap.

Go For It Chap!

The racing not the Cleese-type car thrashing! Couldn't ask for a friendlier set of team-mates.

I'd second that. If it weren't for the yellow cross on the back of my car, I'd jump at the chance.

Hi Guys & Gals,
It looks like we have our fourth car and sixth driver lined up for the Birkett 6 hours at Silverstone on Oct 29th on the Grand Prix circuit. It's Brian Murphy and his Prosport. Brian did the Birkett last year.
HOWEVER it would be nice to have a potential reserve(s) in case any one of us suffers some mishap between now and October 29th (like Lydden on the 22nd). So please contact me if you would like to be in that position. DAVID WATSON 01798 812103 / 07919 345970
