I know at least 3 buyers that have pulled out due to lack of confidence and zero communication what a shame as this really was a very exciting project,still im sure there will be lots of customers waiting for cancelled orders.

Come on jaguar you need to respond to these guys to put there minds at rest or your really going to have egg on your face,i would of thought Harry Metcalfe would of been on here by now responding as he told me last year there would be no way i could buy a car as completly sold out funny dont think thats the case anymore from a phone call i recieved yesterday.I really feel for the customers that have put deposits down and not getting any correspondence it must be hugely frustrating but try to hang in there as im sure it will all come right in the end and your have a fantastic car.

Got my date 11sept,also you may be interested in this paragraph from jenny at jaguar-

I have made some enquiries to clarify the TV/split screen. The sound system in Project 7 will be the top spec Meridian Surround Sound System ICE 770W. Further to our conversation I have also listed below some features of the 16MY F-Type R (Project 7’s donor car) that are not possible on Project 7;

- Front Park Distance Control (owing to the unique front end and bumper beam removal)

- In control apps (owing to removal of antennas and top mounted emergency call buttons - removed with bespoke chopped screen).

- Removal of TSS (Stop/Start)

- Removal of interior Motion Sensing

cheers

Some new reviews for the production Project 7 now available online in the usual places (unsure if allowed to link, but a simple search will suffice). Also, production car No.1 will be at Goodwood FOS.

The reviews tick all of the boxes I had hoped. Despite the communication problems earlier on, I certainly feel that I made the right choice in ordering the car. The dodgy Luton based dealership I referred to in a previous post has closed down and business has gone to Milton Keynes. I had a phone call from my new contact there and was made to feel like a proper customer. Right now I am waiting patiently for delivery. My car is scheduled for completion on 21 August, perhaps a little too early for collection from SVO, where I understand a proper customer hand-over facility will made available (eventually)
I've just been reading some Le Mans posts on the forum....I had a great trip there this year, despite not having the car, but I can't think of a better car for this annual 'pilgrimage'. I feel very pivillaged to be in a position that I can own one...lucky me!
