Brilliant. Same situation with myself. Have you decided on the colour yet?
Apologies for the late response - I've been away driving around Europe after a visit to the Le Mans Classic!

Not decided upon colour yet, I'd like to see some of the proposed colours in the metal before making a final decision, but I do like Blue...
I'm planning on visiting my dealer this weekend to talk through the order process and perhaps about going to see the car again. I presume there will be some depositor events etc.

I'm really very excited about it! Having seen the car at the Goodwood FOS and then again at the Le Mans Classic I have become even more impatient. At the Le Mans Classic it was sat next to a D-Type and it (along with the D-Type) did a few parade laps. I made sure I was next to the car when it started up and drove off from the Paddock and it sounded fantastic.

Just a quick update - I've now received a letter formally confirming I have been allocated one of the 80 UK cars. It also sets out the timelines for the delivery of the car. The first cars will be delivered from April next year.

At some point next month Jaguar will provide more information in order to allow me to begin to specify the car and there will be another opportunity to see the car fitted with some of the available options I believe. Then early next year there will be an opportunity to visit the factory (SVO) and perhaps also drive the car.

Very excited!

Excellent, I got the same letter too.

If you want to know what it sounds like, watch the final 15secs of this video. I'll post a dedicated Project 7 vid on the channel very soon..

I've got to ask, was there some inside influence to ensure you got one of the 80 cars wink

Certainly not so in the UK, as there's already a sizeable waiting listing operating for RHD Project 7, all hoping someone might drop out from the list of 80 lucky deposit holders. Then the overseas markets have already taken care of the rest of the 250 total build number for Project 7.

You may just be able to get a LHD car by speaking nicely to a German or French dealer but that would be your only way of securing a Project 7 today.

I don’t think this is true. As Harry has said above, UK allocation is over-subscribed by some distance.

I have had some speculative ‘offers’ on mine already, but it’s not for sale.

Had a call from Jaguar SVO today - they are sending an e-mail tomorrow with links in it in order to allow me to specify my Project 7. This has to be complete by 18 November apparently.

Really looking forward to getting underway - it feels like it's getting much closer!

Not sure yet as I don't have the e-mail. I'm expecting some sort of configurator with a limited options list - I know for example that the decals and 4 point harnesses are optional...

I'm hoping to see the car again in different colours in person, but to be honest I'll probably specify it in green to mimic the original D-Type.

I spoke to Jenny at SVO this morning - e-mail delayed until early next week; I was advised if it hasn't arrived by next Wednesday to get in touch again.
