Just about to order the F type V6S ... Firesand.

Question for owners/dealers : Do the 20" wheel affect the driving in any way? Some reports say the 19" give a better rude and handling. Before forking over an extra 2k would be good to know (Rant: On top of the ridiculous "extras" standard on most other cars, the spec is a major downgrade from the dear old XK!)

I ordered my V6S with the standard 19" alloys but bought a set of 20" 'blades' for it.It worked out cheaper than paying the £2500 option price and I have a spare set of 19" to either sell or fit back on the car when I sell it.I find the ride very good on 20", it's probably better on 19" but I'm happy with mine.

+1. The ride is probably a bit better on the 19's but I haven't found the 20's to be unacceptable in terms of comfort. Plus, in my opinion the 20s look much better.

Stick winter tyres on them and you'll have happier motoring Nov->Mar.

19 inch is still a large wheel and tyre size so I would doubt there will be much between the 20 and 19” inch tyre. The ride might be slightly better on the 19 inch tyres but I would guess both sizes will have low profiles anyway which is what causes the firm ride and risk of damage. It really will be down to what size you think looks better.
