Agreed. Looks fabulous, particularly for its age, something you won't ever hear me saying about the wife....

Very nice. How are you finding it?
Came back to look at this picture again, what is going on with the rear number plate ? it looks oversize and takes too much away from the rear end....just my opinion and I do have a crack habit.

Most modern Jags (i.e. going back to the S-Type in 1999) have had shaped number plates smile

+1 again, when folk talk of stereotypical cad Jag drivers that's the car that springs to mind for me. I'll have one of these some day.

you must get one even if its only for a short while.i have had every variant over the years from the 3.6 to the 6.0l and they just have something about them that makes you smile when you see them on the road

I'me really impressed with the car so far. Fast and nimble - gets a lot of admiring looks.

The rear number plate is large and shaped. It actually looks fine in the flesh... just a little odd after I edited the number out.

I've actually bought it to replace my white Nissan GTR which I'm too old for! It's extreme and harsh in comparison to the XFR-S.

I like them all I could make a case for every one of them. But my biggest regret is letting my 6.0l go I just loved the sound the engine made when is started. Just buy one you will not be disappointed and if you look after it you will probably get your money back.My first one was a beaten up 3.6 I intended to use for parts and I drove it back from Peterborough on about 4 cylinders but still had a smile on my face all the way home.

echo this. I had a 6.0L black 55k and I sold it at a good profit (!!!) but dearly wish I still had it. Sublime.

Yes, indeed it is. Had a Maserati 4200GT before this and the Jag is way quicker.

6.0 and manual box is a great combination.

Thanks for the positive comments all, I've just hit 21 so a bit younger than the average XJ-S driver (no offence!) but loving every minute of it. The rear end has been completely rebuilt and lots and lots of other expensive work done. My next project on her is to sort the rear transmission mount and over the winter rebuild the front subframe/suspension assembly. Should be very nearly perfect after that!
