Gentlemen.
At less than a tenth, probably more like a twentieth of the cost of some of the lovely Jaguars on here...

Here's mine after a day being treated to a full detail by Buff Daddy. Finished off with some Swissvax Divine "Buff Daddy" Edition.

Nice cars so far. Love the F-Type wellzee - is that the standard front bumper? Looks meaner than others I've seen
Yeah it is standard although with the black pack fitted so bumper beam and front splitter in gloss black rather than matte plastic. Looks a lot better imo, really glad I spec'd it.

A rare car indeed; I have never seen one on the road, only ever in photographs. Lynx did a very neat job of the conversion of these.

Thanks. A reasonably early one, converted from new, Spider #24.

Also has the 'Performer' body kit by Lynx, and I believe the engine mods, although I await confirmation on that. I'm led to believe there were 2 to this spec.

Here is my 1992 Sovereign. I have had it many years and it was once my late father's company car. I have owned it many time longer than he did now!

Lynx did a similar body kit and engine mods to the early XJ40 too. They stroked the 3.6 litre AJ6 engine to 4 litres, though I believe they got slightly more power out of them than Jaguar did. They're also very rare beasts.

Lynx are much better known for their XJ-S Jaguars I'd say - such as yours and of course the Eventer. How many Spyders did the build in total? I have a feeling it was only about 70, wasn't it? I imagine a lot will have been exported too, so it's not surprising I have never seen one, with so few about!smile

Restored unfortunately. The underbonnet area is reasonably original - as original as a maintained car can be - and the interior is completely original, but the bodywork had quite a bit of rust. I had this repaired, then had the whole car resprayed. I regret doing that slightly, since the original paint was really quite good and the car seems to have lost a bit of history for me, if you know what I mean.

Thanks! Mine's not quite so quick as your fire breathing monster! wink

My brother's wife had a 5 litre XKR up 'til recently. The V8 sounds absolutely fantastic doesn't it!
