With any luck, there will be a 600hp F Type RS at some stage!

After a few years away from the Jag fold I've weakened and bought myself an XKR convertible to play with.

I've spent all afternoon outside with the polisher smile. Can't believe what a good looking car it is, immaculate deep black paint and shiny wheels (now), bright red brakes. It's got the Adamesh rear cans and twin twin tips on it, which are nice round town but drone too much for my liking, I'll switch it back to normal cans when I can source the RH rear I need at a reasonable price. Mind you, I've been out and about in it today and I'm getting used to the noise now! smile

Now with added shinyness. smile

My XKR and its evil sidekick. I've bought the Big Cat last October and have done about 8k miles in it including the classic GT trip to the South of France.

do you ever get in it to drive it.I was thinking as you approach it do you just step back and just take a minute to admire it. then maybe take a walk around to see which is the best view of it. biggrin

I've just recently bought this 1996 XJ Executive. My Grandad bought it new in 1996 and traded it in for his current XF in 2012 and I've been looking for it ever since - sadly I couldn't afford it at the time he sold it due to an expensive break up.

I have a few things I want to do to it, first and foremost I will be getting rid of the horrible stainless steel door mirror covers. Beyond that, and once I've eased into the fact that it's mine and not my Grandad's, I'd like to make some minor improvements to the handling as I'm finding the basic, softer set up of the Executive to be a tad wallowy compared to my old XJ40 Sovereign.

Restored an original blue 02 XKR now in Giallo Fly Yellow, I went a bit mad with the carbon dipping. Had the wheels, dash, steering wheel, window trims, exhaust tips, interior door handles, door mirrors etc all dipped, it actually looks great in the flesh! I also had a bigger lower pulley fitted that has def made a difference in mid range power.
