I've finally got a replacement for my X350 XJ6 - an X350 Super V8 (I'm very imaginative, I know!)

The supercharged v8 pulls incredibly well, and it's got some nice options like radar cruise control, voice control, heated seats and steering wheel, sunroof, rear entertainment system etc. A lot of these weren't mentioned in the advert, and neither was the massive folder of receipts that came with it.

It's had the air compressor, gearbox oil and filter and valley pipe done, along with most of the suspension rebuilt. It drives beautifully, and seems to be the perfect upgrade from my XJ6.

It needs a good clean inside and out, which I'm greatly looking forward to, being the sad person that I am tongue out

I quite like these, I'm considering begging for one as my next company car. How do you like it?

Nice, congrats. I bet the xenons are a vast improvement over the XJ6's halogens!

The V8 S/C loves to be above 50mph...woof.

This is my 2nd XJS a 1996 Celebration run out model I have it at my daughter's in Orlando, where I visit at least 3 times a year, and being a Florida car there is not the slightest bit of rust anywhere on it compared to the one I had a couple of years ago here in the UK its remarkable! The car had 86k miles and I paid $6,000 about 3 years ago from a Dodge dealer who had taken it in part ex against a new Challenger and he wanted shut of it on eBay.

I am a keen golfer I played Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill course and sneaked it on the cart path at the side of the 18th...

Picked this up yesterday. Its a 2010 Jaguar XJL in Caviar Red. You can also see my 1999 XJR which is having its wings repaired.

A bit of kerb damage from the previous owner but apart from that, they look great. Didn't know that they were an extra cost but thinking about the wheel size, I guess that the 20" ones will be. Only thing I don't like is that the rear tyres appear to have a stretched look to them so might need to fit a wider tyre at some point. At the moment, the car have 275's fitted.

Glad to hear that ... mine were chromed and I think that was a £3K extra ... I only kept the car for 7 months mainly because of the attitude of the local dealer

That's a shame - dealers should not spoil the ownership of the car but they are a big factor. I use to work for my local dealer before they were purchased by a different franchise so I have good relations with the service staff. Hopefully that should do me well.

Super duper looking motor!
Good write up too
I remember your posts back in my Tuscan owning days and was thinking that Tvr did a colour called Nebula blue..in my mind it was a similar shade to your Jag but with lots of metal flake. Looked stunning too.
