I didn't think you could get a pre facelift 2.2d?
not exactly 100% sure of the year but it was a 2.2d as I remember asking if it was the same engine as the X type 2.2d

That looks so good. Spectrum Blue with the Black Pack? Never seen that combo before, but it works.

Thought I'd post a few pictures of back when the Jag was clean and the Weather was warm biggrin

Superb car to own and drive - and the compliance and ride are surprisingly good for a sporty car with this level of power.

Lovely colour. Is that Quartz, or more blue than that?

Thanks - It's Slate Gray - it was a bright day, I'd worn an elbow out claying and polishing and my camera likes to over-expose bright bits for some reason.

Still looks superb in real life though - first one I saw was Slate and nothing else looked as good after that. (Didn't buy that one though!)

This is what it looked like on arrival (bit cloudier), next to what it replced:

I had a Supra twin turbo way back in 1995 without a boot spoiler the basic shape seems to have been copied by others.

Hi, I'm new to the PH forum but a long time reader. I've just bought my first Jaaaag, an XK8 4.2, and I'm very proud of course so thought I would post a few pics in this thread...

Nice colour, both inside and out Logan.

(and I like the E-Type too! smile)

This is my Mk1 project. Saved from the banger lads it's a matching numbers 3.4 manual O/D
No real time frame for completion, it obviously needs a fair bit of work. It's not quite as bad as it looks though, the underside is covered in red lead paint and is remarkably solid.

Nice motor. I also took the fuse out of aerial.
Doesn't your car have the standard parcel shelf? Fixed to the hatch?
