^ very nice!

My XK meeting its XKE Grandad (also a '69) by chance yesterday. A lovely Ex-US model, now converted to UK spec/RHD/triple SU carbs etc etc and used regularly - marvellous!

I think that's my ideal two car garage were fuel, money and storage all slight issues! Lovely!

My Godfather has the same garage, excellent choice.

Excellent stuff. You've been looking for an XJS for a while, no?

What he said. I had a couple of different XFs (and more recently an XE) as courtesy cars since I've owned my XKR and I've never felt disappointed with any of them, all lovely machines, as is yours.

Polished my Daimler Double Six on Saturday morning, then gave it a good blast over moorland roads and motorways, making full use of that 300 bhp V12 - got it thoroughly wet and dirty.. smokin.

I did a lot of soul searching in changing to an XKR from my Monaro, but I'm enjoying it so far. IMHO one of Ian Callum's most beautiful designs.
It'll be my daily for the next few years, here's to an enjoyable 30k miles or so smile

Had a Ro myself in the past, two totally different cars that seem to deliver the same muscle car GT package!

V88Dicky,

That XK plus your XF 5.0 V8 is in my view almost the perfect motion combination.

All I have to do to be the same is persuade the wife to switch her Fiesta Sport 1.6 to an XK.....no chance, methinks.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I agree wholeheartedly with them both. thumbup

Great car the Monaro, it was an honour to own one. It certainly scratched the muscle car itch wink
