stunning colour! Love the new F-types, if it wasnt for the fact I wanetd to switch from a 2 seat z06 to something with 4 seats so I could take the family out, I'd have one.
That colour, wow first ive seen in that!
Thanks, I like it. My previous F and an XKR were both red so it made a nice change. Here's another taken on a snowy February by a racetrack that's gonna get pretty busy next month..That colour, wow first ive seen in that!
When the X-type was launched I said I would have of them one day, and I did. And I loved it. A few years later I had a stunning X350 Sovereign with the superb 2.7 diesel. We looked at the XF to replace that but as the other half said, it didn't feel like a Jag - great cars all the same and whilst I love the new jags its a shame they have had to put some of the past, in the past. Whilst Porsche can get away with hardly any design change, Jag had to in order to grab new market. I get that, I do but I do think the facelift X350 range looked stunning.
The new XJ is epic and I do like the XF, the XE looks great but from behind it looks like a 5 year old Audi A4. The downside to my X type was the seats, I found them utterly uncomfortable but loved the car.
BTW 300, you will like some of my other recent cars, just got out of a c6 z06 That blue is a lovely colour

Similar experience (bought one of the first X-Type in Switzerland) but then went for the S-Type 2.7d Sport which was a great car.Was about to buy an XKR (X150, 4.2 liter) but moved to the UK for work
Now looking at an F-Type as toycar
Yeah I can see myself in an S-Type diesel or XJ6 diesel. But I must admit I am rather liking the mpg of the X-Type. 55.1mpg is the current reading on the dash. And I've done 1300 miles since picking it up on Sat 26th March (24 days ago).
In the past we've had XJ40's, x300 and even a 6.0 XJ81. Obviously the X-Type is a different car, wrong wheel drive and derv. But I'm surprised at just how much it feels and drives like the XJ's we've had. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but the feel and sense of occasion is bang on. It wafts serenely, but corners effortlessly. It can make progress, but there is never the need too.
