Yesterday was an epic day. We are down in the south of France, fuel hasn't been an issue yet (touch wood!). We spent yesterday driving up and down the Gorges du Verdon on some epic epic roads. Some of the views from the drops off the side were enough to make palms very very sweaty!

Just hope we can get enough fuel to get home!
Love it there, Sainte Maxime is my destination of choice. Whilst at the Gorges you need to go to Castellane and get a raft ride down the river, epic ridethumbup

Sainte Maxime is lovely, we've stayed outside there in Plan de la Tour but fancied a bit more of a mountain top holiday this time :S We're poss going back to Castellean tomorrow so will check out the raft rides though we fancied the lake and a peddalo!

Haha no they've been fine since, brake dust took some cleaning off, think I'm going to have to by some new discs and pads to be sure.

Tbh yeah was quite enjoyable, I've done it in a Peug 406, Honda Civic Tyre R (don't even try it) and S-Type 2.7d, the XJ was by far the best.

My parents used to have an apartment in Vinaros, near Peñiscola. Castellon is lovely also.

It really is what these cars were designed for long distance cruising. Very jealous I am lucky if I get 500 miles a year in mine now

Lovely, well done smile I had an XE R-Sport 180 a few months ago for a long weekend as a courtesy car, I was quite taken with it. Much, much more fun to drive than I had been expecting.
