Mines never clean enough to warrant taking any pictures, but a quick splash (and some serious elbow grease on the pipes) at the weekend meant I could take a couple.....

Cool, but that profile of tyre just looks all wrong. Should be 255/40/18 at least
But, that is precisely what they are......

My little Seat kind of looks like the poor relation compared to the rents cars.

I'm aiming for an XE as my next car and that is a bloody lovely spec.

This is mine;

I've had it a bit over a month now after searching for about a year for a good clean one without any rust. It's just had a differential output bearing replaced which hurt my pocket but is now running silent and just needs a new pair of rear tyres and an air con top up before we set off for a holiday driving round some of Europe at the end of July.

My temporary car in between motorbikes.

I went to buy it from the guy near fleet and he brought out a folder with every piece of paper related to the car in chronological order.

Knew I wanted it then so made him an offer which he accepted then promptly told me that he wasn't expected to sell it and I couldn't have it for a week, sigh!

I have just swapped my RRS for this to take my daughter to prom this weekend, it is by far the fastest thing I have ever driven and amazingly comfortable plus makes a great noise. I am disappointed in myself though with the mpg figures - how on earth can a 550bhp V8 get nearly 34 to the gallon even though the car only scored me 3.5/5 for throttle use!

Bought this in May, a 4.2 SV8. Really enjoying this car so far. Wish I could afford one of the many F-types posted in this very thread though!

Lovely (if I say so myself), is it a silver or light blue? I can't tell whether it's the light in the picture playing with my eyes...either way, good choice!

It's silver. I think I'd have preferred the light blue, but with so few SV8's around sometimes you've got to go with whatever's available. This has only done 40k from new, and has the interior combination I was looking for (straight grain wood and black leather all round).

I thought mine had done well at 51k miles hehe Sounds like it's the same interior as well and I agree it's one of the best combinations.
