Here are my two big cats.
V8 automatic - smooth comfortable, relaxing.
V12, Manual gearbox - sounds fabulous, great fun to drive.

"Green" does not seem to have been a popular choice for modern Jaguars. For example, I've had my XF Emerald Fire for over two years and only ever seen two others.
I think that colour is very dependent on car shape. An S-Type looks good in Jaguar Racing Green and so does the older XK. But an XF in green looks wrong to me. The only colour an XF works in (IMHO) is vapour grey/bronze.

In addition colours go in fashions. Look at a photo from the 1980s and it's amazing how many colours the cars come in. Many modern cars are just silver, black or grey. Yawn. But I do notice bronze catching on - and almost all cars look good in bronze. Well maybe not an S-Type!

Early XJ-S, pre HE model with manual gearbox, one of less than 300 built, not sure how many remaining but imagine very few left.

Orbtar, that is a beauty. Agree on the fabulous colour - wonderful. Judging by the damp pavements it is not a 'garage queen', either.

I absolutely love this, especially the colour. Thanks for sharing, and if it can make it along to a Sunday Service I'll join the queue to have a good look.

looks great but I am biased. The XKR and XK8 look better with age just as the XJS does
