Here's my relatively new baby, I've been meaning to post some pictures for the last few months but have been a little bit busy.
It's a V8S, purchased as a private sale used car in the summer.
I'm absolutely loving it, I was lucky enough to have rented a couple of F-types over the last couple of years as part of father and son escape holiday/trip, picking the Car from Munich airport and driving down into the Alps and playing around on the various passes. The first time was 2014, at the time I owned a BMW M3 convertible as a weekend toy and got back in it and realised I had fallen completely in love with the F-type.
I went back again in 2015 with a good friend of mine and did a very similar trip and that just reaffirmed my initial feelings.
Between the M3 and the F-typeI had an Aston Martin V8 vantage roadster, but just didn't get on with it.
After the disappointment of the Aston, I just wanted to try the Jaguar again on home roads just to make sure it wasn't the beautiful Alpine passes that were making the car feel fantastic, so have one on higher for the day from Avis (a V6S) and then immediately returned it and went to my nearest dealer to have a relatively brief test drive in a V8. All the time I was in the V6 I had convinced myself that the V6 made a great noise and was more than enough power, after literally a minute in the V8 it was very obvious that the V8 was the car for me. I only problem was that the budget for the V8 was higher than I had anticipated spending, but just a couple of weeks later this beautiful grey model appeared as a private sale, I had been monitoring auto trader daily, so the minute it appeared I phoned and got straight in the car to go and have a look and ended up driving it back that afternoon.
I really only use it on nice days, I'm lucky enough to work from home so through the summer was able to get out and enjoy it quite a few times.
This must be one of the lowest mileage V8S F types, I bought it at just under 3 years old with almost exactly 3000 miles on it - the mileage is totally genuine, the guy that owned it had half a dozen cars and his wife didn't like the wind in her hair so he only used it occasionally. Despite being such low mileage it's been serviced on its anniversary date each year - you can imagine it is absolutely immaculate.
Planning to try and take some better pictures of it through the summer, the ones of uploaded are just a handful of quick snaps. To be honest I rather be driving it than taking pictures of it.
I really can't get enough of the exhaust noise, it is very addictive. My 12-year-old son thinks it's wonderful, if the weather allows I try and take him to school a couple of times a week in.
It sits in the garage under a car cover when not being used, sitting alongside my other pride and joy, a Ferrari 360.

Mine's 20.5yrs old with 170k mileage
Was going to sell a couple of years back but my insurance renewal was just £119 (PNCB and business miles) so opted to hold onto it. Especially so as it's LPG converted and in monetary terms does over 60mpg and has a range of 850 miles with both tanks brimmed...don't know any other Jag that can do that? Although of course in the UK you can't really drive over 600 without dropping off the end!
No picturesque images, this one taken at the carwash
No issues in my 12yrs of ownership except the 2nd hand transmission I had fitted yesterday (driving through a deep puddle in Nov with a hot trans caused the drum to shatter)
