Why isn't it a real Jag? Its got the Jag badge on it....
I think it was nicknamed the "baby" Jag and shared Mondeo engineering.
Personally they have grown on me and I think the Estate AWD is a really nice Car.

I had one at the time and got all the "oh its a Mondeo" type comments. Well good, the Mondeo had a class leading chassis smile

No it isn't it is a different engine. Both based on Ford units though

I had a 2.2 as I used to have a 100 mile commute. Class leading chassis and XType are not words I'd use in the same sentence. It was an OK car, but Jaguar themselves admit they got it wrong.

Yep, that's what I get all the time! I don't care though as it's way more comfortable than my Forester.

One of the most beautiful designs from the seventies, in my eyes. Not sure about those, err, wheels, though...
I recall admiring those when petrol was 69 pence a gallon...

If its an iphone and you are taking the photo landscape you are holding the phone upside down as you do it so the home button needs to be on the other side if that makes sense

That's Lovely! cool

I thought it was black in your photo, but the xkdata info says BRG: http://www.xkdata.com/cars/detail/?car=804257

Much nicer on the standard steel wheels rather than naff chrome wires.

A lot of thumbsnap pics posted on here seem to end up inverted, so maybe it's them.

If you take a photo with your iPhone in landscape position the volume buttons should be at the bottom and the home button on the right. If you have them at the top and the home button on the left then you are holding your phone upside down. When viewing pics on the iPhone it doesn't matter because the phones gyroscope reorientates them for viewing but if you download them like you are when adding to thumbsnap the metadata will come down with it that will say the phone is upside down
