more help please xk8 issue

have got a 54 plate coupe that has a rumble sound from nearside rear, bushes seem ok its been suggested that its the shock? noticeable at lower speeds, my question is can I have these replaced with standard shocks seen some on flea bay and places heard many have replaced with standard but will this flag up any issues on the dash etc as believe it has adaptive suspension.. bit in the dark here advice welcome many thanks again,

Shock absorbers do go on these, get them replaced by someone who knows what they are about. I had an 05 XKR Coupe which initially sounded as if I had a live sheep in the boot.

can i use standard shocks or do they have to be like for like ie the reactive damping style

update I thought all xk8 cars were adaptive it appears mine is standard shocks so that answers my questions lol
