key help jag

Hi, Im new to this forum, im looking for some advise for a key issue i have, my key will work for a week and then just stop working. I resync it using the key from position 1 to posision 2 4 times. Its fine for so long then justs stop working. I wondered if anyone has this problem or a cure.. Thanks
