No. Because with all the fancy electronics on an F type, there wont be one of them running on the roads in 60 years time. They will long ago have been scrapped for want of parts.

Much of the classic car industry is kept going by back yard manufacture of spares, possible because the original item was low tech.
What makes you think that in 60 years time those back yard manufacturers won't be producing simple replacement electronic parts.
If people are still allowed to be driving combustion engined vehicles in 60 years time there will be an industry out there keeping them on the road.

Well, I've had an up/down time of my F-Type recently. Tell me if this is too much or acceptable:

2,000km - Active Exhaust replaced under warranty
5,000km - Software reset for Gearbox fault
7,000km - Centre vents not closing correctly - replacement part on order.
7,500km (last night) - heater controls failed to illuminate but still working. Now 'fixed' itself.

I really don't think this car is going to be a fault free ownership proposition ... so pretty much like all my other JLR products then!

The wipers on my V6 S Coupe occasionly do a single sweep not long after starting, even though there's been no rain for days and humidity is low. Also, the rear spoiler doesn't always activate at 60mph. The start of electrical gremlins?

Test drove a Boxster S with PASM and F Type Coupe V6S on the same day. Was surprised the ride was harder than in the Jag. Cracking car though.
For me personally the F Type coupe needs the Pano roof and the exhaust switch. Took a V8S out without the switchable exhaust and it sounded dull until over 4k revs...then all hell broke loose laugh

Can someone get me a photo of the fuse box in the F-type and its general location in the car.

Thanks in advance!

I'd be very surprised if there was only 1 fusebox. I think my XKR has 3 and even the X300 has more than one.

I'll admit it as the F-Type is such a stunning car, last week I took my 4.5ltr Cerbera to the Hypermax event at bruntingthorpe.
Ended up going up against a F-Type V8S with a very nice aftermarket exhaust and was blown well and truly into last week!
I haven’t had the TVR tuned so there is a chance that she's down on power being 15 years old, but even if it had been playing with the full 420 ponies I can't see there being much improvement on the result. Maybe when I tire of the TVR I’ll go back to Jaguar, but that thing was certainly impressive.

Im guessing this was a convertible? As the S was only on the early v8 convertibles. Are you sure the exhaust was aftermarket? they're stupidly loud in standard form!
