The V8 was more guttural, and popped/banged on the overrun or while downshifting. Very little or no supercharger whine.

The V10 howls rather than grunts but is very much muted by the turbochargers. Less dramatic on downshifting but does give a pleasing bang/burp between gears on the upshift.
