Which fools put leapers on X300 and X308s? It looks completely naff. Thought I had found the perfect car, just about to head cross-country to buy it, and realised it has a mascot. I assume it is a hassle to remove - bonnet is drilled, would need paint, and that never really matches.

Did a quick search - and they still sell these, even for XFs.

Idiots!

They're easy enough to remove and replace with a round 'Jaguar 4 litre' badge. Looks much better, and saves on filler and paint.

They were a dealer fit option in the USA until a few years back.

This I did not know - It might have two holes though, one main and a secondary to keep it aligned straight, non?

Will possibly have to go back to the see

The badges I've seen for sale merely stick on, therefore should fit nicely over the hole(s). Just make sure it's thoroughly cleaned and degreased before application. thumbup

Unless it went on at the factory Jaguar Leapers are way too Daily Mail/second hand X Type for my taste. If you don't take it off chances are the local Scrotes will do it for you.

It'll probably have two 8/10mm fixing holes and be in the single skin section cutout in the bonnet that's pressed specially for the purpose. Take it off and stick a flat badge on. Ebay is your friend here.
