Morning

Subject to costs my boss has agreed to me having one of these as my next company car and will even let me have it early as someone else could use my outgoing car.

I could easily wait the three months until I am due a change, but does anyone know if there are any stock cars available sooner?

I'm looking at a manual, diesel 163 (unfortunately) and not white.

To say I'm excited would be an understatement.

There are cars to go, especially the 163. Stratstones are the biggest network franchise dealer and will have the most stock available. Give Phil Cowans a call at Stratstone of Mayfair. 020 7629 4404, they can ship a car to you anywhere in UK.

Good luck & let us know how you get on..email me if you want a personal intro.

I'd also try Ridgeway, they tend to supply smaller dealer groups with their stock.

Just wanted to say thanks again for this tip, my order was placed this week with Stratstone of Mayfair, although it had to be a factory order, so I have my fingers crossed for a good delivery date.

Ive just got my XE-R Sport as company car and was also factory order, I ordered it in July, I was told it would be ready in the first week in September then i had three delays and picked it up eventually on 21st October. Im enjoying it, the ecomony is great on a motorway run certainly much better than an Audi A4 Tdi, handling is so much better too.

Had the XE three weeks now and am getting 69mpg on 100 mile trips, mostly motorway but am really pleased with this return.

Is that according to the computer or measured? Impressive either way.

I haven't had a delivery date yet, but I'll hopefully find out on Monday....
