XJ8 2001 Oil in Water ?

I have a 4.0 XJ8 2001 and have found the header tank fluid is very oily? Any ideas on how this can be?

No overheating or any issues as just drove 70 miles at motorway speed

The obvious answer is a blown head gasket. You going to have to do some fault finding, an internet forum is not going to help. An initial idea is a CO2 leak detector ( http://www.lasertools.co.uk/item.aspx?cat=0&it...) which will confirm things for you.
