from a early age i have loved the jaguar marque and so this is where i am at, i have a passion for old and new jaguar cars and especially building old ones, i currently have an e type series 2 2+2 and 2 mk2 jags, the e type is finished and i play now and again in it but my real passion is the mk2s,
one of the mk2s i am building i decided to put a more modern engine in it from a jaguar xj40, it had to be a straight six, so i was left with only 2 choices that was the aj6 or the aj16, well after some research i decided that the aj6 motor was the better of the 2 and plumbed for the 3.6 which was it's first design size, so i got an engine and box from a xj40 3.6 manual with the engine harness and the ecu to go along with it, now when i came to draw up the new wiring schematic for the car i got a manual so that i could work out which of the wires plumb into the main body harness which i am also building but some of the wires on the yellow plug don't match my schematic !! in the manual and no matter how hard i have tried i cannot get a schematic matching the colours on my ecu plug, i am led to believe the unit came from an early car and the ecu code does suggest that but that hasn't helped in getting a schematic for the ecu harness.
The ecu code is lucas 9cu 84593 bym, any help would be most appreciated by the way this is the mk2 which the engine is in ;O)

Try this guy. He's very good with older electronics.

Great job with that shell incidentally. I like the 2 door effect.
