F Type - Used 2014 V6 or V8 ?
Discussion
Incredibly, my old one has just been advertised by the same Jag dealer who sold it 10 months ago. The asking price is 7k less and it has another 9-10k miles on it. It's a May 2014 at £50k with 13k miles. My guess is the dealer paid £3k less than the asking price so the last owner lost £10k over 10 months. Sounds about right. The new retail price was £87k.

A bit Leggy - You can say that again, nearly 40,000 miles, that must be the highest mileage one advertised at the moment. I can't see that selling in a hurry.will be easy to move on, just need to make sure its advertised cheapest in the country

JetskiJezz,
I did just that - traded in a four year old AMV8 N420 (which was a lovely car) for a F-Type R. Have not regretted it for one instant. I believe that your money is safer in an AM but I think the R coupes will not depreciate as quickly as past Jaguars. The Jaguar is better fun to drive but the Aston beats it in fit and finish but cannot hold a candle to the advantages that modern technology brings to the driving and ownership experience. Both cars sound amazing but Jaguar has moments of madness but you can tailor it completely to your mood whereas the Aston was loud everywhere (the N420 has the AM sports exhaust). One last thing - people appreciated the Aston but people absolutely adore the Jaguar, which surprised me.

So, with 3 year old V8 F-Types kicking around the £45-47k mark, can someone explain to me why 7 year old XKRs are still around £30k - who would pay that kind of money for an old XKR 'vert?
How about anyone who wants an XKR?Anyone with a pile of readies can go and buy a new F-Type, but that isn't an option with an XKR so if someone who wants to have an XKR rather than an F-Type they have no option but to buy what's available. If the price for the XK type models is holding up then it implies that there are people who want to buy them. Perhaps we'll even see a point where the XK models become more valuable than the early Fs, who knows. The cars have different characters so are likely to appeal to different buyers.

I think £45k is fair
its approved. you get 2 yrs warranty. its a sought after colour IMO, makes it special. decent spec.
go for it
Yeh I'm loving the colour combo, and 40k doesn't seem to scary when you have 2 years decent warrantee on it to get anything sorted. Currently got a 997 that's got 78k on it, and got my moneys worth from the Porsche warrantee - they never seemed to quibble about anything.. is the Jag one as good?its approved. you get 2 yrs warranty. its a sought after colour IMO, makes it special. decent spec.
go for it
Two have just come up on the approved used site:-
V6S 2013 37k miles, just under 40k pounds

V8S 2013 30k miles, just under 43k pounds
http://used.jaguar.co.uk/search#/details/2696507
Both seem very well priced - I wonder how long those will stay up there for?...
