...I suppose if/when Jag bring out an XK replacement that will muddy the waters...
That possibly depends on the price of the new one. If a replacement is priced well above the F-Type it might even help XKR values.

Very curious.
How does it compare with the DBS in your experience and why did you change?

In your site you have all pictures of the DBS, do you have more of the XKRS?
Over all it is much more easier to drive smile

I will make some pics soon smile

IMHO this car will become a collectible soon - only 9 cars actually advertised on the continent !!!

When looking at the XKR-S make sure you check the rear spoiler light works, if not, its £3000 to replace.

I know, but there is a cheaper trick to get it replaced - it is an OEM LR part LR 027950 from the Evoque wink It is described in an other Jaguar forum how to do it smile

Price here in Germany = 3800.-- Euro for the rear wing banghead

8bit,you need to try both xkr-s and the gt version, iam lucky enough to have owned both and the gt is just an animal see chris harris report when he drove it the car is something else for a jaguar,i can only compare it to a gt3 rs porsche when the tyres are heated up its like a go kart to drive,i still own my gt and everytime i take it out it feels so so special and worth the extra money all day long over the xkr-s.Dont forget only 10 white cars and i italian racing red sold in uk prices will defo firm up on all xk models im sure.

cheers simon

Interesting post, thanks for that and happy to hear that the changes add up. I did see Harris' video review, maybe it was because the track conditions were wet but it did look *very* lairy. I doubt I'll ever be in a position to own a GT but hopefully in another year or two I might be able to have a 5.0 XKR-S...

angel believe me you have the most user freindly car,i want to take the gt to lemans in june but front splitter wont allow car off ferry and ive allready cracked one and at 5500 gbp fitted wont be doing it again anytime soon hopefully he he.265000 euros my goodness i have turned down £160k as have no intentions of selling.I was at a breakfast meeting a few weeks back with the car and was parked next to the latest gt3 rs which i think is superb but the jaguar is alot more special with all its fixtures and fittings so to speak such as carbon splitters, seating etc and it really does turn heads i love it and feel very proud of owning one.

cheers all simon

Saw one at Jaguar Crawley yesterday which is unique as it was done with red interior which were not an option. It was done specifically for a client so it is the only one with that combo
