XF 6 speed/8 speed

Still looking for a 3.0l V6, is there a definate date/time that the gearbox was changed to 8 speed?
I thought it was the facelift, but having done a couple of HPI type checks, they are coming up with 6 speed boxes when I was expecting an 8.
It was only the free or couple of quid type checks, so probably not reliable.
Will do a proper check when I find the one.
Any help would be very useful.

Pretty sure it was at facelift they swapped over, unless it's an XFR, where the 6-spd continued for a bit.
