How do I delete this thread then?
I don't think I've said anything I shouldn't have.

D7a is a platform shared by F Pace, new XF and XE.
D8 is currently only Discovery Sport.
Cough cough..Internal Memo..."Please do not discuss internal information to which you are privvy on a public forum"
That's nothing that hasn't been in the press many times.
I certainly wouldn't discuss anything else I know.
I'm sure the fact that the XF, XE and the F-Pace share the same platform has been in all the car press. Just start typing JLR D7a into a Google search box. It's even on the F-Pace Wiki. I just hadn't noticed the name before.
I can't imagine that Jaguar are big enough to not need to share things at this level.

It's not the same chassis but very, very similar. Some of the suspension arms have different, bushes are different compounds, subframes are slightly different.
The XE also doesn't have the option of the best engine, the V6 diesel.
Can you drop me a line? I'm looking for an expert on XF suspension.

Do it!
I took my 2 week old tuned XFS on the Nurburgring and had an awesome time, even upset some much quicker cars with the torqey diesels ability to pull away.
Even if your car was the fastest one there, you'd still be overtaken by drivers with more skill, so it matters not one iota if you think your car won't be as fast as others. Lastly, it'll improve your road driving considerably being able to find your cars limits in the safer environment of a track.
Have fun.
