can anyone tell if its easy to program a key for my XJ as ive seen on ebay you can buy a blade and fob and buy the key circuit board from someone else all for the price of about £30 as opposed to a jaguar dealer price £300 +

Bit lacking in info. What version of XJ ? The Series 1 was launched in 1968 nearly 50 years ago!
