AJ-V6 X-Type inlet manifold.

Hello.
Some help please.

I'm going to be using the Jaguar AJ-V6 3.0 litre engine.
The one fitted to the X-Type Jaguar.

The inlet manifold has two ... Inlet tuning valves fitted to it.

What do these do?
What rpm are they activated at?
What happens if I delete them?

Any help about these valves would be very much appreciated thank you.
