As per the link below, there might be plans for the Delta to come back.
It seems at some point in 2017 with 300bhp and integrale obviously.
Anyone heard anything more? I'll be very excited if true, even if it comes to the UK with a Chrysler badge

AFAIK lancia is dead outside of italy

There might be something delta-esque coming out of FCA, but it wont be a true delta

Another marketing exercise riding the current wave of 80's nostalgia?

I don't think the Delta ever went away, just became a bit st.

Not sold in UK as Lancia could never shake their poor reputation for corrosion from years ago.

That's been around for a couple of years. Looks great, but doubt it'll happen.

Its actually scary how FCA have managed to let Lancia wither on the vine.

Anyone remember the fulvia concept, IMHO it could have become quite popular...

Seen this before and uses the horrid Fiat Stilo as the base car.

The Fulvia concept should have been made. Such a shame really. Was based on the mk2 Punto so would have been nice and cheapish to produce and easy to sell with a healthy margin. See Audi TT. And they had plans to make it pretty light as well, so extracting decent performance out of the modest platform was on the cards. Sigh...

Lancia always makes me nostalgic. In a way they provided 'Vorsprung durch Technik', very clever engineering, attention to detail, rallye dominance etc. way before Audi. But FCA had to use the limited resources to save one brand and they chose Alfa (who IMO invented 'BMW' before the Germans thought of it smile).

Wonder if there's a business case to sell retro inspired takes on the big icons Lancia made. The Integrale as presented by the OP perhaps, the Fulvia as per that concept and of course the Stratos. I'm confident they have the skills to make convincing modern interpretations, but the effort of nursing another brand... Especially as they stupidly decided to push badge engineered old Chryslers under the label for a while.

Good thing I don't have space to store another car, suddenly have the urge to see if a decent Y10 (perhaops even a ie turbo?) can still be found somewhere.

Im not up to speed on the Stilo, what makes it horrid? I kind of like the styling of the 3 door, and the 1.8 HGT and 2.4 abarth seem like competent engines as well (although im weary of selespeed boxes)

Any reason why i shouldnt buy one? (not that im considering one right now, but should my 147 need replacement and there not be a suitable alfa, i kind of like the look of a stilo

It's a horrible car to drive and the interior isn't a very nice place to be in. I'd recommend the newer Bravo as It's much nicer. The 2.4 is pretty underpowered(170bhp) but it does have a good dollop of torque.

The 3 door is a decent looking car but the 5 door looks odd I reckon. I'm an Italian car guy through and through but I'm really not a fan.

I agree that the 5 door looks awkward, i wouldnt have one, the 3 door though..

And yeah, the newer Bravo would be a nicer car, but also more expensive (because newer) and (at least here in the netherlands) out of my price bracket for now. Plus the same sort of money (~€5K) would get me into a very decent Alfa GT cloud9

That Delta concept has been around for a while but its not a FCA development as far as I know.
As per other comments Marchionne has just abandoned Lancia to their home market only as just a City car with the ageing Ypsilon.
We had a 3-door 1.8 Stilo that was 'Abarthised' - looked great IMO. yes not the best to drive but looked different and 'sharp!'
This is our family 'runaround' .............. I get asked about it all the time. Cost me peanuts to buy and run but name something that so different - looks like nothing else on the road - has tons of space and gets me 47MPG on a run.............. plus you never see another smile

I like that!

The 3rd model Delta certainly doesnt work for me as a rally car, but it is very much the luxury italian hatchback, stylish. Id very much buy one!

And there are quick ones as well, there is a twin turbo diesel which does 190hp from 1.9 litres, and the 1.8 DI T-jet is pretty much the Alfa 1750 lump, that should easily do 250hp with a remap
