In relation to the Mustang so far the F Type is even better lighter more powerful and with the exhausts open in sport mode it even sounds better

I see these as the new TVR models especially in convertible form, seeing as there's a void for British-built affordable sports cars in an "FR" format.

I’m an ex Cerbera owner as well as a couple of F Types and in my opinion the comparison is a good one . Fortunately Jaguar has a reliability and durability that TVR could only dream about but audibly very similar

Lovely looking thing. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the R Dynamic rather than the full fat R? I notice the rear diffuser on your car looks like the R Dynamic rather than the 575hp R model? Either way, stunning and I'm sure it sounds lovely

I think you are possibly correct on that point . In the end Jaguar “brand stretched” the F Type to within an inch of its life such was their desperation for sales .

Correct. It’s a P450 R-Dynamic, not an R. It wasn’t just the F-Type that got this confusing badging. I believe the rest of the range also got it in the same way BMW cheapened their M branding with M-Sport on the non M-cars.

P450 R dynamic, 30hp more than the Mustang a lot lighter and supercharged

450BHP is enough in a rear wheel drive car so light 180mph top end is only 6mph less than the 575hp which had tax and emissions issues. Easy to take back up to 575 to 600hp but why it's mental as it is
