Brought her just over a week ago, after asking a few questions on here about MPG I decided to go ahead.
One Doctor owner from new full Jag Service History Ultra nice condition with everything working just how it should (touch wood)
Very Very Very pleased with the drive and PERFORMANCE. Ive come from owning a 3 month a year Corvette C5 and when both cars are moving I dont think theres a cats wisker in it :-)
The only Gripe Ive got is the MPG which I cant seem to get over 17 but maybe this is party due to my "got a new fast car" driving style. What a car.....a pure quality civilized drivers car with the best mid-range performance I've ever felt, lets put it simply theres a few things that might keep up with an XJR but there aint many at all that would get past one!
Tell me what you people think.........

Beautiful (and very nicely done photos too)! Really like the colour. What year is it?

Enjoy it!

Looks good, but are the seats right? those look like XJ8 seats.

Yeah they look fluted in the middle, mine aren't like that although they could be special order as it has been chromed up too - which I really do like with this colour.

The driver's seat is still at an angle though like mine - that gearbox must be mahoosive! hehe

Yeah the seats are different, they are a lot softer than the normal XJR seats (they feel like leather arm chairs) the dealer told me it has the "executive pack" on it which was ordered at manufacturing,(think thats a load of Bo**ocks,is it?) theres a couple of other differences such as the chrome round the windows which one of you guys spotted!

I have 4 XJ brochures from 98-01 and there is no mention of an "executive pack" for the XJR. The later ones had a chrome pack, 2000 and 2001.

It's possible that it's a one off.

Or it's a 3.2 with the wheels, grille and badges.

No, your car clearly goes, as you said in another thread, it's eaten an STi.
