Forgot to say earlier, also on E-bay (you can tell I'm bored tonight can't you!) there's a MK9 Estate car apparently built by Appleyards. Located in Chester.
I remember seeing an XK150 Estate/Shooting brake in white with what appeared to be a Moggie Minor back end grafted on - Urgh! Still have the photos somewhere, this MK9 looks no better; its funny how some cars just look right and yet others look so bloody awful Aston DB5 Estate/Lotus Elan Hexagon and yet the Ferrari 456 Estate in Buckingham Green - sheer class
More rambling- I'd heard that the Honda Civic 3dr was the replacement for the Scimitar GTE but turned down so the design was sold to Honda. What about the Daewoo Matiz - replacement for the Fiat 126, chnage of corporate plan so design sold to Daewoo. Cripes! I'm a mine of useless information!(Quote-School Report- Mrs Nugent 1969)
