I wouldn't be able to get there until 1:30pm. Would be good to meet a fellow local XKR owner kryten, we have matching cars! Prob followed each other down the production line.

Nah, saw an '08 and didn't see the point in spending the extra money on Alcon brakes etc.. So set about finding the cheapest high spec, midnight with Ivory XKR as I could. Bought a '56 plate ex-demo, with 3k on the clock, with the launch spec - premium ivory leather, active lights, premium sound, heated front screen and 20' Senta 's.

Bloody hell, that is my car! I got good taste then eh! Makes it extra shame you cant make VW!

Yep could be up for that. I need about a year's advance to gain authorisation from the missus!

VW was good. Very sunny and warm. I forgot my camera, but Tel from XKEC brought his (actually dunno if he is on PH). Just 3 jag's there. Had a brief chat with tbops in his Enzo. Nice chap.

Guess we know who wears the pants in your relationship! Usually we get the ladies to join us, they talk about ironing and the like, while we chaps talk motors, chicks n' stuff!

So we'll make a date for this time next year. Prob won't have the car by then!

Unfourtunatley I didnt make it with mine due to a nail in the rear tyre so had to take my Scimitar instead. Thanks to NormanD for starting his up so I could here the Racing Green exhaust It sounds awesome compared to the standard one. Some other intresting modificationss as well.
