10 year service

any thought on this one,
had my xk8 1998 serviced last week for 10 year service, only done 82,000 miles
they found no faults.
But Jaguar told them to replace the throttle body at no cost?
car came back with new throttle body which i didn't pay for,
they never told me why it was changed.
any ideas?
