Hi Phil,
I'll see if I can manage one or more Eventers to be there. On the same day will be the JDC E Type Register track day at Goodwood I intended to participate. Not far away but not easy to be on both places in the same time.
That's good to hear Pascal...several of us will be in Lyndhurst in the New Forest the night before if your in the area the day before maybe we could catch up then ??I'll see if I can manage one or more Eventers to be there. Pascal, I tried for years to get the build details of my Lynx L44/89 but never did. Can you get them for me?
I'm looking at them as I write this. There's a record of every car worked on or built by Lynx (and even a certain large blue transporter), most with photos (L44/89 included). They are dwarfed by the masses of fascinating historical and technical information on Lynx and Jaguar. The photo archive exceeds 30,000 images including period photos of strange cars such as this one:The owner of the Lynx assets is disposing of them via this website Lynx Motors International It's all very sad but it at least gives ordinary enthusiasts the chance to own a piece of history - but better be quick!
I took some pictures of a lhd Eventer in Oslo, Norway today.

I am somewhat confused about Lynx. Last time I looked everything was for sale and that was the end of an era. Now I click on the Lynx site and find this. Can someone inform me please?

Hi All just thought I'd touch base with this link as I've just bought No63.
I've wanted one for some time and wish I'd bought sooner as I could have saved a few quid!!
Had it 24 hours and I've been questioned numerous times as to what it is. All positive comments so far.
Lovely to drive, very refined and rattle free. Just need to get the Japanese ICE working in English!!

Eventers production numbers are very confusing...
Pre production Eventers are known to be 3, N°001, 002 and 003.
Production Eventers are N°1 to N°67 but some were sold under other labels so there aren't 67 Eventers namely as usualy said.
Strangely, and to add confusion, Eventer production N°2 is the same as pre production N°002 while production N°1 is an other car than pre production N°001 and production N°3 is also different from pre production N°003. All in what we have there are 5 cars with 6 production reference numbers. We can imagine that Eventer N°002/2 was delivered before N°1 but I have to check in files if I have info's about delivery dates to final Customer.
Before pre production cars there are references to 2 prototypes and 1 or 2 mock up, but no evidence of the second prototype and the first one is probably none other than pre production N°001. Confusing I said!
These info's come out the Lynx archives, I should ask Guy and Chris if they remember about that and if they could confirm.

I have always loved the Eventer, I wonder if anyone had an Eventer tuned by Lister that would have been an interesting performance shooting brake.
This one sold well at the Silverstone Classic auction
