Condition doesn't matter that much as I'd be hoping to do a full resto, anyway. Neither does LHD.Steering wheel either side is OK. If anyone comes across a suitable candidate, can you remember this enquiry and direct vendor in my direction ? Thanks for your assistance. Regards JG
Are you still looking for a Lynx Eventer? I have one which may be for sale.

Hi kaza, May I ask you to contact me by e-mail (pascal "at" lynxeventer "dot" com) or thru my web site (www.lynxeventer.com). As possible I like to know more about your Eventer to complete my data base. Also I'm in touch with peoples looking for Eventers and some of them may be interested in yours... Regards, Pascal

Hello Pascal The eventer that Jeremy Wade had for sale is now in our possession. It is a 3.6 ltr auto, Chassis no 43 and has recently had a new M.O.T.It drves very well and was serviced in the last 1500mls by Creamers of Kensington. (Jaguar main dealers) I took it in part payment for an ex works Sunbeam Tiger which I had and due to lack of space and time, it is now for sale. Kaza

Hello kaza, So you own the 3rd 3.6L Eventer I have plenty of info's about the 2 others 3.6 but nothing about yours... Would you be kind enough to send me info's and pictures by e-mail. Of course, I only publish info's with agreement of the owner to respect confidentiality when it's requested. If you like I could advertise it on my web site. BTW I've been asked recently by someone looking for a 3.6L. I've answered him it was so rare he should better think to something else but I could inform about yours. Could we go further about this by e-mail ? I remember you mine is pascal at lynxeventer dot com Regards, Pascal

Where's the Eventer in France? I would love to see one again and meet the owner. I live in le Limousin. I own a late V12 convertible XJS but I've always hankered after an Eventer. Three or four years ago I spotted an advert for one in Classic and Sportscar but the mag had arrived over here late as usual and even though I literally ran to the phone I missed it.

I know about 5 Eventers in Belgium and 9 in France, most of them are around Paris, 2 are in Lyon and there's 1 in Arcachon, not too far away from you...

Saw one today on the M4 (about 0745, nr juntion 6). Looked pretty damn cool actually - anyone on here? Had a dodgy misaligned exhaust.
(PS Kind of hope not, as it wasn't very well driven...)

Afraid not... was dark (IIRC) and had an old-style plate (the letter at the end - Y maybe?). And it was an auto; it had a single exhaust each side, one of which had no 'tip' and was wonky. Also had no 'Lynx' or 'Eventer' badges - had to Google "XJS estate" when I got into work!

chris.mapey said: I posted these a while ago that I found on another website... Looks like that there is at least one less Eventer... After... Chris This Eventer had been picked up by a Scrap Yard Crane prior to Woka purchasing it thus damaging the Roof with Chains, Mark paid £ 40 for it and I collected it, been a few years ago now, prob 1999 / 2000. It was hanging when he bought it, well past repair.
