My 1995 XJR.

And again next to my dad's MkII.

The keen-eyed among you might notice one side of the car has a clear wing mounted indicator lense and no coach-line, while the other side is original. I recently replaced the rear wheelarch on the near-side and had the wing repainted so the coachline had to be removed.....trouble is, I can't decide which side looks the best, so for now I'll leave it as is. Can only see one side at one time anyway.

I think it looks better without tbh.

Makes the car look taller and more modern.

My '99 XKR, not very standard, in fact it is in the workshop at the moment for a full strip down, more upgrades and even a colour change.

What a 650 horse engine looks like

Hi Norman,
...which explains why I did not spot your car in Parking Blanc last weekend. I also looked out for you in the ACO tribune whenever I was there but didn't see you.

This is why, someone modded my car with out permission.

Yes gave it a miss this year, gave my tickets to my son.
Good coverage on EuroSport 1 & 2, even good shots of the hotel on the straight, thinking I shuld be there.

I'm already booked for the 24Hr and Classic in 2010 Hotels as well.
Just ferry to book when dates are confirmed.

Hope to have the car back on the road for Painshill on the 19th July

Cheers mate,

That bridge would make for a fantastic run if it wasn't for the diesel all over the bloody road!

Hi Norman,

Ouch..did someone do this and shoot off without you knowing? B*******!

As regards Le Mans 2009, strangely not so exciting this year in my view. Perhaps the Pugs had the race wrapped up too early. Mind you, those Lola Astons were somethin' else. However, as usual, I concentrated on GT2 and that was great, although what happened to the 997s?

Thanks for the "puff" re Painshill: it's in the diary and I may see you there.
